THE RACE

The Frenchay 10K is one of the country’s oldest 10K events. First held in 1980, the race was conceived with the joint purpose of staging a well-organised run for serious runners and beginners’ alike and raising money for local charities.

Our chosen charity for 2017 is the Teenage Cancer Trust

COURSE

The run starts & finishes in the UWE Glenside campus and runs through Oldbury Court and along local roads. The course is scenic and undulating and will suit all standards. Unfortunately, the course is unsuitable for wheelchairs.

No changing facilities or showers

Supervised kit storage (at owners risk)

Hot and cold refreshments available

Presentation of the prizes takes place at 12.30 in the Students Centre

ENTRIES

Race number collection is available between 9.30 and 10.30.

Entry on the day registration opens 9.30am and closes at 10.45am. - 15 mins before the start of the run.

The minimum age for runners is 15 years on the day of the race.
